Folk is the original raw form of emotion, knowledge, experiment and human value of a common people which passes from generation to generation in the form of Folklore, Folk story and Folk Music. Folk Music and Dance is a deep source of culture which flow from generation to generation.

In the civilized society the Ganda people are untouchable, lived outside of the village. Even the upper caste people don’t want to touch their shadow or they avoid to walk on their walking way. Most of people earn their livelihood from working in the field of upper caste rich and Zamindar, where some people from weaving and some from playing Ganda Baja. Ganda Baja is the dignity of Ganda or untouchable people of society; the art form is being created and maintain by the Ganda people itself.

Ganda Baja is a group of Rhythm like Dhol, Muhuri, Lisan, Tasa/Timkidi and Jhanj/Jhumka/Kastaal play by the Ganda or lower caste people of the Society. The Ganda Baja is attach with the feelings and life of Ganda people. Simply we can refer that Ganda baja or Ganda Baja Musical Orchestra is by the Ganda, of the Ganda and or the Ganda People. “Ganda Baja” has its own identity in culture in the material civilized Socio-Cultural Society.
